A small fabrication bench for a one-car garage

My shop improvement project is a compact bench that can share space with the bike. I am prioritizing clear work space, storage, and a layout I can rearrange as projects change.

Interested in how you handle storage without filling the work surface. That is the part I keep getting wrong.

The current plan puts the everyday hand tools within reach and the project bins underneath. I am trying it temporarily before fixing anything in place.

Testing the arrangement first sounds useful. It is easier to move a bin than rebuild the whole bench.
